America’s Boating Course at Fox Chapel Marine

America’s Boating Club also known as Pittsburgh Power Squadron is offering the America’s Boating Course at both marinas again this year. This course covers the basic information a person needs to operate a boat safely.  Passing the class enables you to apply for your PA Safe Boater Card which is required to operate certain vessels and all wave runners. Cost of the course is $35 and includes course materials.  Registration is with Jane at jane.brandenstein1@verizon.net.  It does not matter which marina you dock at, sign up to whichever is more convenient for you.

FCM will have the course offered in June at Baja Bar and Grill on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30.  Class dates:  July 12^th, 19^th, 26^th and August 2^nd.

SSM will have the course offered in June on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.  Class dates:  July 8^th, 15^th, and 22^nd
